KYB.MD respects the privacy of your personal data and is committed to protecting it in accordance with Law no. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data of the Republic of Moldova. This document explains what information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and what rights you have regarding it.

1. What data we collect

We collect personal data only when you provide it to us directly, for example when placing an order, filling in the "Buy in one click" form, requesting an interest-free installment plan, or contacting us:

• Full name
• Phone number
• Email address (optional)
• Delivery address
• ID number (IDNP) and date of birth — collected exclusively for installment purchase requests, required by our financial partner to assess the application
• Automatic technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited (via cookies, see section 7)

2. Why we use your data

• Processing and delivering orders
• Contacting you to confirm your order or installment request
• Sending the installment request to our financial partner (the lending institution), only with your explicit consent
• Responding to inquiries submitted through the contact form
• Improving website performance (traffic analysis, anonymized statistics)

We do not use your data for third-party marketing and do not sell it to any company.

3. Legal basis for processing

We process data based on: performance of the sales contract (your order), explicit consent (e.g. for installment requests), and our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiries.

4. Who we share data with

Your data may be shared, strictly to the extent necessary, with:

• Couriers / delivery companies, for shipping packages
• Our partner financial institution (e.g. IuteCredit, MAIB, Victoriabank), only if you choose the installment payment option, and only with your consent checked in the form
• Technical service providers (hosting, payment processing), contractually bound to respect confidentiality

We do not transfer data to third parties for advertising purposes.

5. How long we keep data

We retain order-related data for the period required by Moldovan tax and accounting legislation. Data from incomplete checkout forms (e.g. abandoned carts) is deleted periodically.

6. Your rights

Under applicable law, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (except data we are legally required to retain)
• Withdraw your consent at any time, for processing based on consent

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures (encrypted HTTPS connection, restricted database access) to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or accidental disclosure.
