Professional instrument for determining the alcohol concentration (density) in a water-alcohol solution. Essential for anyone who makes homemade alcoholic beverages using distillers of any type. The device provides the most accurate density readings. However, it will be inaccurate when used to measure drinks containing solutions of different densities. For example, if measuring a drink with sugar syrup, the reading will be lower than the actual value. How to use the hydrometer correctly: To take measurements, submerge the hydrometer in the solution so that it floats freely without touching the walls of the container. Read the value directly from the hydrometer's scale. If a reading cannot be obtained (the device sinks completely or, conversely, does not submerge), use a hydrometer with a range of 0–40° or 70–100°. Specifications: Measurement range — 40–70°.
