Hydrometer ASP-3, 70–100°

A professional instrument for determining the alcohol concentration (density) in a water-alcohol solution. Essential for anyone involved in making homemade beverages using column stills capable of producing high-strength alcohol. The device provides the most accurate density readings. However, it will be inaccurate when used to measure drinks containing solutions of different densities. For example, if measuring a drink with sugar syrup, the reading will be lower than the actual value. How to use the hydrometer correctly: To take measurements, submerge the hydrometer in the solution so that it floats freely without touching the walls of the container. Read the value directly from the hydrometer's scale. If a reading cannot be obtained (the device sinks completely or conversely does not submerge), a hydrometer rated for 0–40° or 70–100° should be used instead.
