Copper Still DES CLASSIC 100 L

The Des CLASSIC copper still with a capacity of 100 liters, equipped with a stirrer, is designed for the preparation of fine spirits both outdoors and in enclosed spaces. Heating of the distillation cube can be achieved using solid fuel (wood, briquettes) or a gas burner. This model is made from the highest quality M0k electrolytic copper, which, combined with the high purity of the metal, ensures maximum purification of the product and gives it a unique, distinctive and smooth taste. The distillation cube is heated by an open flame, although the use of a KPT-3 gas burner is recommended as an additional option. An air jacket surrounds the cube, distributing heat as evenly as possible and reducing the risk of the mash burning. This creates the equivalent of a steam-water boiler without its main drawback – high thermal inertia during heating. The cube lid, secured via a silicone gasket using a quick-release clamp, is fitted with a safety valve. The copper still's design includes the Mixer system, which features a manual stirrer to ease operation and prevent the thick mash from burning during distillation. The unit has a 2.5" ball valve drain outlet for spent mash, allowing it to be installed permanently and connected to a drainage outlet for mash disposal. The vapor pipe and heat exchanger are attached to the cube via a clamp connection with a silicone gasket to ensure a airtight seal. The use of Tri-clamp connections at various points of the still simplifies assembly and maintenance, allowing a single person to manage the entire process. The cooler with a flow-through shell-and-tube heat exchanger, with a capacity of 30 liters, is made from a special grade 4301 stainless steel designed for use in heat exchangers. Inside the cooler, 4 copper tubes with a diameter of 15 mm and a length of 1 meter run through it, ensuring high heat exchanger performance.
