Copper Distiller DES CLASSIC 160 L with drain valve/manhole

The Des CLASSIC copper distiller with a capacity of 160 liters, equipped with a stirrer, is designed for the preparation of fine spirits both outdoors and in enclosed spaces. The still pot can be heated using solid fuel (wood, briquettes) or a gas burner. The model is made from the highest quality M0k electrolytic copper, which, combined with the high purity of the metal, ensures maximum purification of the product and gives it a unique, distinctive and smooth taste. The still pot is heated by open flame, however the use of a KPT-3 gas burner is recommended as an additional option. An air jacket surrounds the pot, distributing heat as evenly as possible and reducing the risk of the mash burning. This creates the equivalent of a steam-water boiler without its main disadvantage – high thermal inertia during heating. The pot lid, secured via a silicone gasket with a quick-release clamp, is fitted with a safety valve. The copper distiller's design includes the Mixer system, which incorporates a manual stirrer to ease operation and prevent scorching of thick mash during distillation. The unit features a 2.5" diameter drain outlet with a ball valve for spent mash, allowing it to be installed permanently and connected to a drainage outlet for mash disposal. The vapor pipe and heat exchanger are attached to the pot via clamp connections with silicone gaskets to ensure an airtight seal. The use of Tri-clamp connections at various points of the distiller simplifies assembly and maintenance, allowing a single person to manage the entire process. The condenser features a shell-and-tube heat exchanger with a capacity of 30 liters, made from special grade 4301 stainless steel designed for use in heat exchangers. Inside the condenser run 4 copper tubes with a diameter of 15 mm and a length of 1 meter, ensuring high heat exchanger performance.
