DES CLASSIC Copper Distiller 80L with stirrer

The Des CLASSIC Copper Distiller is a distillation apparatus with a capacity of 80 liters, designed for the preparation of noble spirits both outdoors and indoors. Heating is achieved using solid fuel such as wood or briquettes, as well as a gas burner. The uniqueness of this model lies in the use of superior quality M0k electrolytic copper, from which the apparatus is crafted. This ensures high metal purity and maximum product refinement, while also imparting a distinctive, special and smooth taste. During the heating process, an air jacket surrounding the distillation vessel distributes heat evenly and prevents the mash from scorching. As a result, this distiller provides high distillation efficiency, similar to a steam boiler, but simpler, more accessible, and without its main drawback - significant thermal inertia during heating. The vessel lid is secured via a silicone gasket using a wing screw, and a safety relief valve is included to ensure process safety. The Mixer system (manual stirrer), integrated into the copper distiller's structure, allows easy distillation of thick mash and prevents it from burning during distillation. The distiller's firebox is divided into two hinged sections, allowing convenient tilting of the distillation vessel for draining the stillage. The steam pipe is connected to the vessel and heat exchanger via a clamp fitting, ensuring a tight seal. The use of Tri-clamp connections at the main junction points of the steam pipe with other distiller components simplifies assembly and maintenance. The cooler, with a volume of 30 liters, is made from a special grade 4301 stainless steel designed for use in heat exchangers. It features 4 copper tubes with a diameter of 15 mm and a length of 1 meter for efficient cooling. As an option, the use of a "Parrot" hydrometer holder is recommended, which helps monitor the alcohol content of the product. This distiller meets current industry standards.
