Copper Still DES HOBBY 35L (with mixer, gas and solid fuel)

Des Hobby is a 35-liter copper still designed to help you fully develop your skills and become a professional distiller. By using solid fuel (wood, briquettes) or a gas burner, you can heat the distillation pot and produce spirits in small quantities both indoors and outdoors. With the DES Hobby still, you can easily craft drinks such as whisky, brandy, cognac, chacha, bourbon, and other fine spirits. One of the key advantages of this model is the exceptional quality of the electrolytic copper used, which ensures a maximally pure product with a unique and smooth taste. Additionally, heating the distillation pot with an open flame combined with an air jacket surrounding the pot allows for even heat distribution and prevents the mash from scorching. This delivers results comparable to a steam boiler, but without its drawbacks, such as high heating inertia. The distillation pot is equipped with a water seal that ensures a tight connection between the domed lid and the pot, while also serving as a pressure relief valve. When pressure inside the pot increases, it is automatically released through the water seal. A notable feature is the hemispherical shape of the pot lid, which aids in better separation of fractions and increases the alcohol content of the final product. The lid also features a 1" external thread outlet, allowing you to connect a vapor pipe. If desired, you can also mount a column onto the pot using a thread-to-clamp adapter. For additional rectification and effective fraction separation during fractional distillation, a Pistorius deflegmation plate is included. The package also includes a Mixer system, which greatly simplifies the workflow by allowing easy stirring of the mash and preventing it from burning during distillation. Thanks to the relatively compact size of the still, no outside assistance is needed — it can be assembled and operated by a single person.
