The Des „DIAMOND" copper distillation apparatus is the ideal choice for all those who aspire to craft perfect noble spirits. The unit has a capacity of 120 litres and is equipped with an electric stirrer to ensure maximum efficiency throughout the distillation process. The apparatus can be heated using solid fuel such as wood or briquettes, as well as with a gas burner. This model is designed for producing beverages both outdoors and indoors, in open or enclosed spaces. The apparatus is made from high-quality M0k electrolytic copper, which ensures not only a high purity of the metal but also highly effective purification of the product, giving the spirit a unique and distinctively smooth taste. Models in the „DIAMOND" series feature a specially designed still pot that ensures even heat distribution and long-term operational efficiency. The apparatus operates on an open flame, though the use of the KPT-4 gas burner is recommended as an additional option. The firebox of the apparatus features an air jacket that ensures uniform heat distribution, reducing the risk of scorching the product. This way, you get all the benefits of a steam-water boiler without its main drawback – high thermal inertia during heating. The still pot is equipped with a water seal that not only hermetically connects the domed lid and the pot, but also functions as a pressure relief valve. When pressure in the pot increases, excess gas is safely released through the water seal. The AutoMixer system with a timer greatly simplifies operation of the apparatus, allowing effortless stirring of the wash and preventing it from burning during distillation without human intervention. The apparatus is fitted with a 4" ball valve drain outlet for spent wash, enabling convenient installation and connection to a drainage outlet for waste disposal. The water seal also features transitions to the vapour outlet pipe, located at the top of the copper helmet and the shell-and-tube condenser.
