The Des „DIAMOND" copper distillation apparatus is the ideal choice for all those who aspire to craft exceptional noble spirits. The unit has a capacity of 160 liters and is equipped with an electric stirrer to ensure maximum efficiency during the distillation process. Heating can be achieved using solid fuel such as wood or briquettes, as well as with a gas burner. This model is designed for preparing beverages both outdoors and in open or enclosed indoor spaces. The apparatus is made from high-quality M0k electrolytic copper, ensuring not only a high purity of the metal but also highly effective purification of the product, giving the drink a unique character and a particularly smooth taste. Models in the „DIAMOND" series feature a special still pot construction that ensures even heat distribution and long-term operational efficiency. The apparatus operates on an open flame, though the use of the KPT-4 gas burner is recommended as an additional option. The firebox of the apparatus incorporates an air jacket that ensures uniform heat distribution, reducing the risk of product scorching. This way, you gain all the benefits of a steam-water boiler without its main drawback – high thermal inertia during heating. The distillation pot is equipped with a hydraulic seal that not only hermetically connects the dome lid and the pot, but also functions as a pressure relief valve. When pressure inside the pot increases, excess gas is safely released through the hydraulic seal. The AutoMixer system with a timer greatly simplifies operation of the apparatus, allowing easy stirring of the fermented mash and preventing it from burning during distillation without any human intervention. The apparatus is fitted with a 4" diameter stillage drain outlet with a ball valve, enabling convenient installation and connection to a drainage outlet for stillage removal. The hydraulic seal also features steam outlet connections located at the top of the copper helmet and the shell-and-tube condenser.
