Submersible "Parrot" for jar

What is it used for? The submersible parrot is designed for monitoring the strength of the distillate in a continuous flow. The advantage of this model lies in the compactness of the device and the minimum number of intermediate reservoirs. You can forget about graduated cylinders that need to be regularly filled with distillate to determine its strength. How does it work? The parrot is placed into a standard glass jar, in which the finished product will be collected. The spout of the condenser is connected to the inlet fitting of the parrot using a silicone tube. The liquid, passing through the connecting channel, fills the cylinder and overflows into the jar. A hydrometer is placed into the cylinder, which displays the alcohol percentage of the liquid in real time.
