HOT ROD CARBON FRUIT - Fruit Distillate Purification Blend (1 kg) The spirits filtration technology developed by our specialists involves a three-stage purification process to remove fusel oils, light aldehydes, ketones, methanol and other harmful impurities. Different types of activated carbon are distinguished by the ratio of macro-, meso- and micropores in their structure. Macropores are of little use in purification and serve only as channels through which gas or liquid penetrate into the sorbent. The absorption of impurities takes place in the mesopores and micropores. The recommended technology involves three stages of purification: - semi-fine; - fine; - ultra-fine. Semi-fine purification is carried out using mineral activated carbon. At this stage, more than 50% of impurities are adsorbed. Fine purification is carried out using special grades of vegetable activated carbon. The advantage of vegetable activated carbon lies in its large number of micropores: the surface area is 1.5-2 times greater than that of mineral carbon, which significantly improves its adsorption properties. For ultra-fine purification, a polymer adsorbent based on ion-exchange resins is used. The use of such a sorbent not only significantly improves the organoleptic (taste) properties of the product, but also gives spirits a special smoothness, without introducing any foreign odors or flavors into the purified product.
