This type of charcoal is obtained from coconut shells through acid treatment and neutralization. Coconut charcoal is most commonly used to purify moonshine and other distillates from harmful impurities. The product is delivered in a plastic bucket, ensuring its integrity during transport. Advantages of activated charcoal over regular charcoal: It adsorbs harmful impurities more effectively due to its surface having more numerous and smaller pores. It is more economical: only 10 g of charcoal is needed per 1 litre of spirit, compared to 40-50 g of regular charcoal. In addition to fusel oils, it binds heavy metals, oxidants and other impurities. Instructions for use: Add 1-2 tablespoons of charcoal to the alcohol. Stir and leave to infuse for 2 hours. Filter using a filter or cotton pads. Important! Before use, the charcoal must be rinsed under running water, dried, and only then used.
