Steam-Water PVK 85 L

The PVK steam-water boiler is a unique device with a special construction consisting of two nested containers. It is used in home distilling and brewing, for assembling a universal distillation apparatus, a home rectification column, or a home brewery. The PVK is commonly used for mashing and distilling thick worts, and is also ideal for mashing and brewing beer at home. The bottom of the outer container is filled with a heat transfer medium (usually water), which is brought to a boil by electric heating elements (heating coils). The resulting steam fills all available space between the container walls, evenly heating the inner surface across its entire area. In essence, the PVK can be regarded as a large steam boiler operating on the water bath principle. The main purpose of the PVK is to bring dense fruit, berry, and grain raw materials to a boil. Unlike traditional methods, the use of a steam bath ensures a "gentle" and even heat transfer to the raw material, preventing scorching. This PVK is made from high-quality food-grade stainless steel, grade AISI 304. It allows brewing large volumes of beer wort, various fermentation starters, and thick worts without time restrictions. In addition to brewing wort, the steam-water boiler can be used to make beer, jam, kvass, condensed milk, and other products. Thanks to the steam jacket, heating of the products in the boiler occurs evenly and without sharp temperature fluctuations. The l steam-water boiler is the best solution for both a home distillation apparatus and a home brewery. When rapid cooling of the boiler's contents is required, the hot water from the jacket is drained and replaced with cold water, ensuring effective cooling of the product. A notable advantage of this PVK is the presence of two pass-through openings for heating elements, providing the ability to use the boiler both as a PVK with water jacket heating and as a conventional distillation vessel.
