Brandy is also known as "distilled wine". It is based on grape wine or fruit mash with an alcohol content of 37.5%, aged in barrels, which gives it a slightly cognac-like taste. Due to its lower degree of filtration, brandy better preserves the aromas of the fruits it was made from. The flavoring is added to an alcohol base (vodka or moonshine) at a ratio of 3 ml per 1 L. After adding, the drink should be left to rest for 3-5 days in a dark place at room temperature to allow the flavor to stabilize.
