Soxhlet Extractor + 2 inch T-fitting
The Soxhlet Extractor is a laboratory device first described by Franz von Soxhlet in 1879. It was originally designed for the extraction of lipids from solid mixtures, but over time its applications have expanded significantly. Recently, this method has become popular in home distilling, being used to infuse beverages with the flavors of herbs, spices, berries, fruits, nuts, and even wood. The main advantage of the extractor is the fast, almost instant production of flavored craft beverages. Unlike the maceration method, it requires half the amount of ingredients to achieve the desired flavor and aroma. The device also allows the production of aromatic concentrates that can be added to the finished product. The flavoring process using the extractor takes place at lower temperatures, which helps preserve the aromatic compounds of the ingredients. Please note that different ingredients may behave differently during extraction, so it is recommended to experiment with raw material proportions and the number of cycles. Using ready-made spice kits will help achieve the best results. Package contents: 2" T-fitting - 1 pc., 2" spherical cap - 1 pc., siphon-type overflow tube (total length approx. 175 mm) - 1 pc., PTFE tape for sealing threaded connections - 1 pc.
