Home Brandy is a sweet cognac-style drink that you can prepare in just two weeks. Oak chips reduce the infusion time and give the drink a distinctive woody aroma and a rich bronze color. Barberries provide their characteristic tart and slightly sour taste, which harmonizes perfectly with the sweet aroma of almonds and apricot kernels. Cloves and nutmeg add distinctive spicy notes to the flavor profile, which don't overpower the taste but rather highlight its complexity. Preparation: Pour the spice and aroma blend over vodka or moonshine with a strength of 40%. Leave the drink in a dark place for 14 days. Shake occasionally. Depending on the amount of liquid, the taste will vary from rich (1 liter) to mild (3 liters). Filter using your preferred method. Add 15–20 g of sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
