It functions as a lens-shaped dephlegmator and serves to increase the strength of the distillate by returning the phlegm, formed during the cooling of alcohol vapors, back into the boiler. It allows obtaining alcohol with a strength of 80-90° in a single distillation. It is attached to the alembic via a threaded connection. The kit includes an extension tube matching the height of the lens. By using this lens, you will obtain a stronger and purer distillate.
