The liquid collection node is a universal device used during the second distillation. It stabilizes and simplifies the process of collecting "heads", "tails" and "heart". The new version features an improved, enhanced design that allows for comfortable production of quality homemade spirits. Design features of the new collection node: The probe is installed directly in the vapor environment, ensuring maximum temperature reading accuracy. Stable thermometer readings throughout the entire distillation process thanks to the "mushroom" cap that protects the thermometer probe from dripping reflux. More convenient collection adjustment due to the redesigned needle valve shape. The internal structure is a "cup within a cup" system. A groove forms inside the node where liquid accumulates during distillation, from which the reflux is directed to the collection point. Node operating modes: The "mushroom" inside the node is removable, enabling the node to be used in several modes: full collection mode, "heads" collection mode, and "tails" collection mode. In full collection mode, an additional cooler is required. The "mushroom" is placed inside the node and protects the thermometer from dripping reflux, ensuring accurate readings, allowing for a complete or fractional distillation run. In "tails" collection mode, the node is installed between the distillation cube and the packed column. During distillation, reflux accumulates in the groove and can then be easily drained through the node's outlet, stabilizing the entire distillation process and simplifying fraction collection. In "heads" collection mode, the node is installed in the pot still column assembly after the dephlegmator. During distillation, reflux accumulates in the groove and can be drained through the outlet port. Thanks to the node, "heads" collection is more stable and independent of voltage fluctuations or water temperature changes.
