The liquid takeoff node is a versatile device used during the second distillation. It stabilizes and simplifies the process of collecting "heads", "tails" and "hearts". The new version features an improved, upgraded design that allows you to comfortably produce quality homemade spirits. Features of the new takeoff node construction: The probe is installed directly in the vapor environment, providing maximally accurate temperature readings. Stable thermometer readings throughout the entire distillation thanks to the "cap", which protects the thermometer probe from dripping reflux. More convenient flow adjustment due to the redesigned needle valve shape. Several cooling hose connection options to choose from. The additional cooler is fitted with a standard thread compatible with quick-release connectors or standard 1/2 plumbing fittings. Use whichever option is more convenient for you. Important! Quick-release connectors are not included in the package and must be purchased separately. The internal construction is a "cup within a cup" system. Inside the node, a groove is formed in which liquid accumulates during distillation. From the groove, the reflux flows to the takeoff point. Operating modes of the node: The "cap" inside the node is removable, which allows the node to be used in several modes: Full takeoff mode. "Heads" collection mode. "Tails" collection mode. In full takeoff mode, an additional cooler is required. The "cap" is installed inside the node and protects the thermometer from dripping reflux, ensuring accurate thermometer readings. In this mode, a full or fractional distillation can be carried out. In "tails" collection mode, the node is installed between the distillation cube and the packed column. During distillation, reflux accumulates in the groove and can then be easily drained through the opening in the node. This stabilizes the entire distillation process and simplifies fraction collection. In "heads" collection mode, the node is installed in the wash column assembly after the dephlegmator. During distillation, reflux accumulates in the groove.
