To prepare the tincture you will need: - 3 L of alcohol at 40-45% ABV - 30-50 g of sugar or honey - this spice kit. Preparation: 1. Gather your ingredients: to make the tincture you will need a 40-45% alcohol base (such as vodka, grain spirit or moonshine), this spice kit, sugar or honey (optional), a clean glass container and a funnel. 2. Add the spices: open the ingredient package and add the contents to the glass container. Then pour in the alcohol. 3. Close the container and stir well. 4. Place the container in a dark location for 10-14 days. Shake it periodically so the spices are evenly distributed throughout the alcohol. The longer you steep, the richer and more intense the flavour will be. 5. After steeping, filter the drink using a funnel and cheesecloth or a dedicated filter cloth. It is not necessary to remove all the sediment that forms, but you may do so if desired. 6. Add sugar or honey if you wish. 7.
