Vodka or ethyl alcohol diluted with water to 40-45% can also be used, though the result will be slightly inferior in those cases. You will need: the spice kit and 3 L of alcohol at 40-50% strength. Preparation: pour the alcohol over the contents of the kit and infuse in a dark place for 7 days. Shake periodically. After infusing, strain and let it rest for another 3-5 days.
