The drink has a hazy color and a rich malty aroma with a taste reminiscent of aged whisky. The kit contains smoked malt, which gives the drink an intense smoky phenolic character that dominates the profile. It has a long and pleasant finish. The ideal alcohol base is any double-distilled grain distillate. Vodka or ethyl alcohol diluted with water to 40-45% can also be used, though the result will be slightly inferior in those cases. You will need: - The spice kit - 3 L of alcohol at 45-50% ABV. Preparation: Pour the alcohol over the contents of the kit and infuse in a dark place for 7 days. Shake periodically. After infusing, strain and let it rest for another 3-5 days.
