The first professional Ukrainian turbo yeast with activated carbon, Hot Rod 48, specifically designed for sugar washes. Co-developed by Hot Rod Distiller and the R&D laboratory of PJSC "Enzyme Company" (a Ukrainian yeast manufacturer with a century-long history). Faster than the most popular imported yeasts. Excellent organoleptic profile. The wash self-clears by day 3. Up to 4 packets can be combined for 100-litre batches. Does not produce foam during distillation. Made in Ukraine. The carbon works throughout the entire fermentation process, and upon completion, it additionally eliminates odours and settles dead yeast cells. How to use: Add 5-7 kg of sugar to 25 litres of water at 35˚C. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved. Wait until the water temperature reaches 23-25˚C. Mix the contents of this packet in. Leave to ferment at 20-30˚C. Optimal temperature is 25˚C. 5 or 6 kg of sugar - fermentation completes in 48 hours. 7 kg of sugar - fermentation completes in 3-4 days. Shelf life: 2 years.
